Thanks for the recommendations, guys! I just went on a library rip and requested The Foxes of Firstdark (it's been years since I've read it), Plague Dogs, and A Black Fox Running. ;D
Also, I agree with Hawkweed; The Fox Woman is awesome. I happened to see a new copy in the library and read it a few years ago.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned all the books by Jim Kjelgaard... the most notable one being Big Red. Haunt Fox and Outlaw Red were two of his others that I particularly enjoyed. Great series about a variety of different species.

I quite enjoy Kjelgaard's word, although I haven't managed to get my hands on some of his books as of yet. There are a number of books that deal with animals I've liked in the past, but I can't for the life of me remember what they were called. There was one dealing with a war between ferrets or weasels and stoats, I do believe. Another was about sea eagles who were being affected by the pollution in the area, making their eggs very thin, and it was one of those "half of the chapters deal with one character (the eagle's) POV and half of the chapters deal with another character (the human's) POV" books. I loved the Silverwing book as a kid, although I must admit I found it's sequels a little more ridiculous.

For everyone who's read The Sight by David Clement-Davies, I just found out that the sequel is being released this month. It's called Fell, and my understanding is that it might already be on the shelves.

Okay, I'm shocked that no one's mentioned the "Guardians of Ga'hoole" series. :O I love owls! And this series was a movie. XD
A list of books in the series:
The Capture The Journey The Rescue The Siege The Shattering The Burning The Hatchling The Outcast The First Collier The Coming of Hoole To Be a King The Golden Tree The River of Wind Exile The War of the Ember Lost Tales of Ga'hoole
And an extra: A Guidebook to the Great Tree
The list was thanks to looking it up on Scholastic.
Good series, probably for younger audiences, but still good. :)
