Seven M. Wolf
Halidari F. Wolf (L)
Summary: Just moments after their talk on safety worries.. Seven has a few woes of his own.
Scene
Seven takes just a couple of steps to a side, away from her as he keeps looking around, curious... And a bit thoughtful. WHere is everbody anyway? Not that he doesn't mind being with her, from a couple of yards away though, "It was easier... Not too stormy like the years before...." He's still worried about some of his friends and well, family that he hasn't seen for some time. also the Viridian wolves.
And he tells her not to worry. Watching him step away some she wonders if something is wrong though say nothing. "Yea, it was better this year. You weren't buried in snow this time." she chuckles joking.
Seven doesn't turn at first, raising a brow at the mockery... Soon his gaze meets the female, keeping an incredulous brow raised, "Har har..." The wolf chuckles, setting himself down on his belly on that spot, "Actually I was, but it was just to keep myself away from the wind..." Funny that, him talking about ignoring the wind, "But yeah, nothing bad happened this Winter." Thank to the Wind for that.
Halidari chuckles once more. "But it wasn't it the mist of a storm.. and burying yourself don't count." she smirks nosing him. "Your right though, least nothing happened."
Seven tilts his head to her side, chuckling softly and nosing her back gently, "I mean it, you have a gift... Others are safe with you, or nearby at least." Perfect example, he almost died last Winter, but the moment she appeared, he was safe! The time with the cougar doesn't though... Still haunts him to remember what happened during that time, "I'm sure your children will be gifted too... Maybe one will be able to talk with the Wind, you never know." Now he's mocking at himself.
Halidari smirks. The thing is, others are safe with her, but her, herself isn't; least not like they are. Not complaining though, she does have Lyk and Sev, what more would a girl want. "You really think so." she says to him. To know her kids might be just the same would be an honor of a life time.
Seven nods slowly, reaching a paw carefully to place it on top of her, or at least her forepaws, "I'm sure they will..." The wolf whispers, offering a smile, "You'll be so proud of them, and they'll be so proud of their mother. Or Seven will have to teach them a good lesson, ok?" He can't help but chuckle at that, pulling his paw away.
Halidari chuckles along with him. "Okay." Why were they talking about the kids she didn't have? She wasn't expecting and probably wouldn't be for a long while. It was odd.
Seven doesn't know to be honest... He just felt like making her smile, and it worked, didn't it? The wolf crosses his paws in front of him, resting his head on top but still looking up at the girl with a smile, "..." The wolf opens his muzzle, about to say something... But after some seconds, he simply yawns, not going to say that.
Leaning back to look at the sky, Hali smiles to herself as she looks back down. She really would like to know what he brought something like that... did he still want... she shakes her head; best not think of that. Looking to Seven she raises a brow, "Tired?" she wonders of him.
Seven is not... Good thing she didn't catch him half saying whatever he was about to say. The wolf shakes his head, chuckling... ok, so maybe she caught him and is probably thinking, or curious as for why he said that, "Not really. Just thoughtful... Another Winter just passed... I'm getting old."
Old... "You not getting old." she states to him. "You just happen to be older." Last winter Hali was just out of puphood, just that mean that this winter she is old to... no, she's just older. Finally an adult. "You've got plenty of time ahead of you." Unless he pull another stunt like he did like that.
Seven won't even start talking about that stunt... It was a mistake, and found out the hars way. So no, he won't do anything like that again. The wolf rolls his eyes, looking at the female as he lifts a paw to point at his muzzle, "See this?" He seriously says, pointing at well, what do you know? "White hairs... I'm way too old now."
Halidari raises a brow to him as his point to said white hairs. "Uh. You've always been white." she chuckles. "And those hairs could just be a misplaced strands." She wont say that he's getting old, even if he is. "To old for what, too. Onces never to old for anything."
Seven knows he's getting old... No one has to tell him for him to know. The wolf knows he's been white for like... Forever, but hey, it was a good joke, no? The wolf sighs, looking away from her, "I miss my mother... I've often wondered if she's still alive or not." It's been a long time to be honest, "She had this... Wonderful voice."
Everyone misses their moment and the sound of her voice. A mother is the only one who knows how you feel even when you don't. Hali is not surprised that Seven would say this; she misses her mother too, even though its been a shorter time since she's seen her then it has been with him. "Why don't you go see her, see if she is." Everyone has that right. "Things will be fine here, without you.. I promise." she smirks.
Seven wishes it was hat easy... With a chuckle, the wolf turns his head to face a different direction, away from the female's gaze so she doesn't see him, "I can't go back..." The wolf murmurs. It's not easy, not after what happened... Hali knows he left, but doesn't know why, in fact, only one of his friends know, "I'm not welcome there anymore." Soft yet gentle tone on his voice.
Halidari blinks at him, "Why not?" She doesn't need to know, but it would be nice to know what keeps her friend from going back. "Why can't you go back?" she asks again.
Seven lets out a soft sigh, shifting his shoulders a bit and getting a bit comftier, but still not turning to face the female. The question is, should he just tell her? Well, there's not a real problem with that information, aye? "I... Hurt someone from my pack. I'm kinda of an exile." Hurt, that's the word.
What does he mean by hurt.. everything gets hurt amongst a pack. She's hurt someone and they've hurt her... though perhaps he means physically. "What did you do to hurt someone?" She moves to a sore subject but Hali just wants to know so she can possibly help.
Hali can see that Seven doesn't feel like talking about that. Ears flattening some more when she asks the other question. His chest going up as he takes a deep breath, still not daring to face her, "I... Killed someone who was pretending my sister..." He says softly, if he didn't want anyone finding out, it was Hali, specially her... "He wasn't the nicest wolf in the forest... And I don't regret it, but I know it was a bad thing. When my mother found out, she let me escape, never to go back again."
If he didn't want to tell her he didn't have to. Hali's been given silence before and accepted it just fine. However, since she was given an answer she nods. She doesn't say anything, what could she say; she's asked to much of him already. Seven's had a rough life and she knows it, but he should keep it bottled up all the time. Dropping her head to her paws, she stares outward sorry for the guy.
Seven waits at least a couple of minutes, silent too... But after the silence, he stands up, shaking himself a little, not turning to face her. No need, he has no other words. It's obvisout that wasn't the answer she was expecting to hear. The wolf starts walking away slowly, "I'll go get food." It's all he says for the moment.
Halidari looks over to him with a slight turn of her head. Hunting was his way of thinking over things wasn't it? She doesn't try to stop him she just nods. "Ok." Is all she ways, watching him leave.
Seven just keeps walking, not turning... No need. Indeed hunting will give him some time to think, or at least beat himself for saying what he didn't want to say.
