It was earlier in the day that he and Eclipse had made their way back to the edge of the densite with Eclipses kill she'd brought for the pack. He'd eatin a little bit of the fawn, however not much, and hidden it off for other members of the pack. The ashen male lays now, blue eyes focused on the world outside the den, brows furrowed thoughtfully.
Eclipse is settled down next to Cyrus, curled up and actually sleeping it seems. Her head tucked under her tail slightly while a ear twitches and she mumbles faintly about something that is just low enough for the words to not be made out.
The mummbling grabs his attention and he turns his head to eye Eclipse thoughtfully. A faint smile tugs at his maw and the ashen wolf leans over to nose the top of her head lovingly. His attention turns back to the lands surrounding the densite, eyes narrowing to eye the shadows suspiciously before grunting and shifting his weight.
Movement is caught in the den as Storm slowly makes her way outside, her movement is stiff at first until she gets herself going. Laying around for so long causes already stiff joints to act up even more. Once outside she gives heself a shake and slowly stretches, a few bones pop back into place and she grunts at the feeling. Eh, getting old sucks. Her ears perk forward slightly while her gaze slowly drifts over any that are around. While she is still grieving and sad after the talk with a certain ghost she knows what she must do. It takes her a few moments before she catches sight of Cyrus and his friend and lifts a brow slightly at the pair.
With the wolfs alertness it doesn't take long at all for the movement from the den to catch his attention. Head turns and the ashen male is on his paws almost instantly, however slowly so as not to wake Eclipse if he can. He drops his head a little lower then normal and trots to his mother side. A low whine escapes him as he eyes her, nosing her neck and chin lovingly, "Hey mom.. how are you doing..?" He knows its a horrible question to ask but he really doesn't know what else to say. His eyes stay on his mother but an ear rotates back in the direction of Eclipse, his figure somewhat tense.
Eclipse maw twitches slightly at the touch and she seems to relax at it. A ear slowly twitches forward and soon her eyes open to peer after Cyrus as she notices the warmth at her side was gone. She blinks seeing the other wolf and lifts her head, ears perking forward before lowering as she makes sure too keep a rather submissive stance. She doesn't want to cause a problem after all..
He catches Eclipse subtle movement but he keeps his gaze focused on his mother. He decides not to wait much longer to explain to her exactly why Eclipse was here. "Mom.. I want you to meet someone... before.. before he.." he hesitates, fummbling for the right words, "Dad met her and told her she could stay here. I want you to meet her." There's almost a pleading to his voice, a pleading for acceptance for the wolfdog he thought he was falling for.
The alpha watches Eclipse a few moments, maw twitches as she takes in the new scents before she looks to her son. A faint smile is offered. "Better then I was." She says softly as she nuzzles Cyrus back, leaning against him slightly before she lowers to her haunches. "This is Eclipse?" Storm questions Cyrus. "Your..father..told me about her." This murmured softly. A glance is offered back to Cyrus, watching her son a few moments. "Its alright.. If Felstride said she can stay, then she can stay." She would not dishonor anything Fel said after all, not like she has a huge problem with hybrids, specially ones that live in the wild as this one seemed too.
Eclipse watches the pair quietly a few moments before she shifts up onto her haunches and clears her throat slightly. "Hello.." She says with a polite tone, a slight dip of her head offered as well. The hybrid stays put other then the movement she just made, making sure that she doesn't cross any line and cause a problem.
A wide smile beams across his face, a smile of pure almost puppyish joy. He headbutts his mother lovingly, nipping at her cheeks and chin and showering her with kisses before he bolts back in Eclipses direction, tail almost 'wagging' as he's seen hers do when she's happy. The ashen wolf bounds around the hybrid and runs his body the length of hers happily. "Mom said you can stay." The statement sounds almost comical as he smiles between the two most important females in his life now. He nudges Eclipse towards his mother, "Say hi.." He nods to his mom, "Yes. This is Eclipse.. Eclipse this is my mother, Alphess Storm."
Storm chuckles faintly as Cyrus dances around, that is something she hadn't seen in a long time. For a moment she's quiet, ears lowering slightly as she recalls another wolf that would do somewhat the same thing. She never noticed how much her sons actually took after Felstride until he wasn't around. Her gaze drifts back to Eclipse, a warm smile offered, more so because she sees how happy Cyrus is. "Hello Eclipse.. It is a pleasure too meet you finally."
Eclipse ears perk as she listions, catching the conversation but she stays quiet. She looks to Cyrus, a faint chuckle escaping her while she leans back against him, her tail thumping upon the ground a few times. When he tells her to actually go speak to her she's a bit unsure.. She shifts up too her paws after a moment and steps forward, head a bit low while her tail sways in a submissive way. "Nice to meet you as well.. Alpha Storm." So she's a bit unsure what to say to alphas, not like she meets them everyday!
Cyrus finally settles himself down happily beside Eclipse, ears twitching forwards as he lets his gaze drift between her and his mother. His maw is pulled into a wolfish grin, tounge hanging out one side rather awkwardly before he happily snuggles closer to the female with a soft 'mrr' once she's said hello. "Now see that wasn't so bad, no was it.." he questions cheerfully, head tilting to one side. He looks to his mother, a soft warm expression crossing his face as if to say 'thankyou'.
Storm bows her head slightly. "Storm.. Just call me Storm that is fine." She gets the feeling she won't get much trouble with this one. Her gaze turns to her son and she smiiles a moment. "Seems you two have gotten rather close?" A bit of amusement crosses her face at the thought of where it might lead.
Eclipse hehs softly at Cyrus and keeps her head lowered still, she lets her shoulder press back gainst his though. "Ah.. well..yes. His a great friend too have." She isn't sure what too really say to all that, after the conversation she has Cyrus had eariler afterall. A glance is offered to Cyrus seeming to ask for help with this.
The ashen male leans his head over to nip at her closest ear cheerfully before his mothers words catch his interest and Cyrus slides his gaze thoughtfully to the female beside him. He frowns, eyes narrowing before he looks pointedly back at his mom after Eclipse's look for help. "Not rather close.. I don't think I'd be able to live without her. I don't know how I ever did before," he answers truthfully. The wolf makes it a point /not/ to look at Eclipse just yet. "I was never one of the normal boys of the pack, and Eclipse isn't normal either. She completes me. Besides.. she's the serious logical thinker of us.." he beams a wide grin before clearing his throat and awkwardly announcing, "I think I love her." He then blinks and turns his head to the hybrid at his side, ears splaying to the sides, "I think I love you," is said again, only this time softly murmured.
Bodhi slowly pads out of the den as he yawns widely and quietly surveys the densite, a respectfull nod offered to each of those gathered before he makes his way toward them "Greetings Storm, Cyrus, Eclipse" his body given a final stretch once he reaches his normal spot and he settles down
Storm is quiet as she listions and watches the pair, curious to the reactions she is getting, and the answers from her son. She blinks a few times once all the words have finally sunk in and is for a lack of better terms speechless. The alpha takes in a slow breath while she gaze drifts off, ears twitching forward as the wind slips past her. "I suppose everyone has a certain someone that they can only hope to find. An when they do they know its them when they feel completed." Her gaze drifts to Bodhi, and a slight nod of her head is offered before she looks back to Eclipse eyeing her a few moments. "..How do you feel about my son? I've heard Cyrus part in it all and I'm curious about what you think."
Eclipse just blinks as she looks at Cyrus, her maw opening slightly as he goes about speaking to his mother about how she complete him? Well that is true, he sorta complete's her but hey.. Shouldn't he have told her all this BEFORE telling his mother? Who looks rather beside herself there for a few moments. "Cyrus.." She starts softly, ears perking at a new voice and she looks over to Bodhi before looking back to Cyrus as he murmurs the words too her now. An now his mother is asking her questions? Oh boy, yes put her on the spot whydon'tya. Nothing is said right away and she looks back to Storm. "I.. well I have feelings for him as well, I won't lie about that." She looks back to Cyrus, a slight smile offered after a moment, her tail slowly swaying at her side. "..I think I love him too.."
He never does anything the way he's supposed to.. ever. Look at him now. The oldest of Fel' and Storms second litter fell for a stray hybrid he litterally /ran/ into on the border. <3 Twas Love the moment she glared at him! He lets his gaze shift to Bodhi and he dips his maw respectfully to his packmate before Eclipse's voice grabs his attention once more and he focuses his gaze back on her. When she speaks, the ashen males heart feels like its going to explode. A wide wolfish grin covers his maw and Cyrus almost has the urge to yip and howl excitedly however manages to keep his vocals quiet.
Bodhi can't help but grin slightly as he listens to their words and shakes his head mumbling something softly to himself
Storm tilts her head as she watches the hybrid a few moments, listioning too her words curiously. The alpha soon smiles after amoment and glances to Bodhi faintly. "Can you believe this?" She questions before chuckling. "Well.. if that is how you two feel, I can't come close to stopping it that's for sure. One can never stand in the way of true love.. Your have to ask Miakoda too tell you a story about she, your father and I at some point." A faint smile is seen at that before she clears her throat. "I suppose then that Eclipse will want to stay with the pack if you two are going to be little lovebirds?
Eclipse did indeed glare at him, and think a few not so nice things, and most likely say a few not too nice things as well! Though she didn't imagen it would have lead to an actually relationship with a wolf mind you. She leans up to nuzzle faintly at Cyrus's neck as she sits up a bit more. Her ears perking forward as she looks back to Storm and ums softly. "I don't wish to cause any trouble though.. I know not everyone might be thrilled to have me around.."
Cyrus squints his eyes at his mother, a faint perplexed confused look coming over his face. Mia, his father and his mother? >_> <_< He shakes it off as Eclipse nuzzles him and he returns the gesture to the top of her head lovingly before eyeing his mother. He's tempted to go 'Mooooooooommmmmm. Stopp it!' at her comment but he simply smirks and then scoffs at Eclipse's reply, "You won't cause any trouble. And if they aren't thrilled they can get over it. If alpha says you can, then you can and they can't argue. And if they do.. I'll rip their tounge out." The last comment is said jokingly, a innocent beam crossing his face. Well... jokingly /enough/. XD
Storm smirks as she hears Cyrus and eyes him faintly a moment, ripping was a rather wrong word too say don't you think SON.. Not that she says this. "I don't think anyone will have a major problem with you Eclipse.. No one would dare go against anything I or Felstride have said." At least not now. "If you wish to stay and be part of the pack then you may. But you also have to understand that being park of a pack means everyone works with each other, an not by themselves."
Bodhi smirks slightly at storms words knowing a few of the details in regards to that story before nodding at her question with a soft chuckle "Considering i'm likely the most outgoing one in the pack when it comes to other species i have very few problems picturing it" his lips quirking slightly "and if anybody objects to her presence i'd be more then happy to be the one to pin whoever down" his voice calm and soft
Eclipse glances from son to mother and then back to Cyrus, her tail swaying a few times while she smiles. Hearing Storm her attention goes back to the alpha, a ear twitching towards Bodhi. "I understand.. An I will do my share, promise.." Her share and then some to prove she isn't any different then the wolves even if she is a hybrid.
When Eclipse basically accepts, Cyrus can't help but yip happily, nuzzling his head into her neck lovingly and keeping it pressed there for a few moments. He turns his attention to Bodhi and smiles thankfully, his head tilting in gratitude before he looks to his mother and gives her a wolfish smile. "Love you mommy," comes his soft comment, a small wink thrown her way as the nearly grown boy chuckles deeply.
Storm chuckles softly as she watches the pair before she slowly eases down so that she is laying in front of the den. Its strange to see her son all grown up, but still act like a pup. Kids.. they never seem to grow up specially when around their parents. "..Just let me tell Mia about it.." Seeing how she isn't too fond of dogs, the alpha isn't either but Eclipse isn't a dog after all. She has to wonder what Felstride must be thinking about all this, she can only wonder if he would have been happy or not. He never seemed to judge anyone right off, unless they pose a problem so she can only hope he would have agreed with her as well.
Bodhi stays silent for now as he merely watches them
Eclipse glances to Bodhi and offers a smile, her tail thumps a few times upon the ground before she chuckles a moment and leans back against Cyrus at the nuzzling. "Silly.." She offers softly before looking too Storm, pondering who this Mia is as Cyrus spoke of her before.
Cyrus nods his head slowly, "Okay," he didn't want to speak to Mia' about it anyway. Cyrus would probably loose his cool if she acted the same way she did last time. He doesn't mean to think ill of the beta female, he cared for her afterall and saw her as family, but Eclipse was part of his family now and he wouldn't back down easily when it came to defending her. The ashen male smiles cutely to the female at his side before beaming a grin to his mother as well as Bodhi. He figured Felstride was probably laughing happily. He puffs his chest up faintly and grins, "Now we just gotta find Helios a girlfriend," eyebrow wiggle. Maybe he'd fall for a fox and their love drama would be complete. XD
Storm chuckles softly at this. "Might be harder then your think.. I think Helios has stayed a puppy even though his an adult." Her other son is ofter playing tricks on everyone, and causing little problems. He is such a trickester at times. Though if Helios did have someone to fawn over she wouldn't have too worry about him as much, children, always posing problems even when there adults.
Bodhi grins back at both Cyrus and Eclipse before gazing at the sky "hmm, i likely should consider settling down myself one of these days" a soft chuckle escaping his lips
Eclipse smiles as she listions to the others, a ear perking forward at the talk of Helios, whom she found to be rather interesting when they did meet. She looks to Bodhi curiously, pondering what that means as she would figure him to have already done that by now. Not that she'll voice her thought on that. She settles back down next to Cyrus, curling up once more while she snuggles against him. Well she's tired, sleep has been the last thing on her mind lately.
Cyrus tilts his gaze down to the object of his affection and smiles to his mom softly. Neither of them had gotten much sleep, what with Cyrus constantly on the move to patrol the packlands. He settles down comfortabley beside her, laying his head gently across her back and licking her cheek lovingly. He falls quiet, smiling tiredly to his mother and Bodhi as he mrrs gently into the hybrids fur, a long sigh coming from him.
Storm watches the two quietly a few moments, its sad an yet at the same time a happy sight. It means everyone is moving on at least.. The alpha lowers her head to the ground and takes in a breath before she soon drifts off into a nap it seems.
Eclipse snuggles back against Cyrus and is soon sleeping once more. Though this time she isn't going to be dreaming of anything bad at least.
Bodhi gazes over at Storm and smiles softly "Rest well Storm".

"I don't think anyone will have a major problem with you Eclipse.. No one would dare go against anything I or Felstride have said." At least not now. "If you wish to stay and be part of the pack then you may. But you also have to understand that being park of a pack means everyone works with each other, an not by themselves."
Bodhi smirks slightly at storms words knowing a few of the details in regards to that story before nodding at her question with a soft chuckle "Considering i'm likely the most outgoing one in the pack when it comes to other species i have very few problems picturing it" his lips quirking slightly "and if anybody objects to her presence i'd be more then happy to be the one to pin whoever down" his voice calm and soft
Eclipse glances from son to mother and then back to Cyrus, her tail swaying a few times while she smiles. Hearing Storm her attention goes back to the alpha, a ear twitching towards Bodhi. "I understand.. An I will do my share, promise.." Her share and then some to prove she isn't any different then the wolves even if she is a hybrid.
When Eclipse basically accepts, Cyrus can't help but yip happily, nuzzling his head into her neck lovingly and keeping it pressed there for a few moments. He turns his attention to Bodhi and smiles thankfully, his head tilting in gratitude before he looks to his mother and gives her a wolfish smile. "Love you mommy," comes his soft comment, a small wink thrown her way as the nearly grown boy chuckles deeply.
Storm chuckles softly as she watches the pair before she slowly eases down so that she is laying in front of the den. Its strange to see her son all grown up, but still act like a pup. Kids.. they never seem to grow up specially when around their parents. "..Just let me tell Mia about it.." Seeing how she isn't too fond of dogs, the alpha isn't either but Eclipse isn't a dog after all. She has to wonder what Felstride must be thinking about all this, she can only wonder if he would have been happy or not. He never seemed to judge anyone right off, unless they pose a problem so she can only hope he would have agreed with her as well.
Bodhi stays silent for now as he merely watches them
Eclipse glances to Bodhi and offers a smile, her tail thumps a few times upon the ground before she chuckles a moment and leans back against Cyrus at the nuzzling. "Silly.." She offers softly before looking too Storm, pondering who this Mia is as Cyrus spoke of her before.
Cyrus nods his head slowly, "Okay," he didn't want to speak to Mia' about it anyway. Cyrus would probably loose his cool if she acted the same way she did last time. He doesn't mean to think ill of the beta female, he cared for her afterall and saw her as family, but Eclipse was part of his family now and he wouldn't back down easily when it came to defending her. The ashen male smiles cutely to the female at his side before beaming a grin to his mother as well as Bodhi. He figured Felstride was probably laughing happily. He puffs his chest up faintly and grins, "Now we just gotta find Helios a girlfriend," eyebrow wiggle. Maybe he'd fall for a fox and their love drama would be complete. XD
Storm chuckles softly at this. "Might be harder then your think.. I think Helios has stayed a puppy even though his an adult." Her other son is ofter playing tricks on everyone, and causing little problems. He is such a trickester at times. Though if Helios did have someone to fawn over she wouldn't have too worry about him as much, children, always posing problems even when there adults.
Bodhi grins back at both Cyrus and Eclipse before gazing at the sky "hmm, i likely should consider settling down myself one of these days" a soft chuckle escaping his lips
Eclipse smiles as she listions to the others, a ear perking forward at the talk of Helios, whom she found to be rather interesting when they did meet. She looks to Bodhi curiously, pondering what that means as she would figure him to have already done that by now. Not that she'll voice her thought on that. She settles back down next to Cyrus, curling up once more while she snuggles against him. Well she's tired, sleep has been the last thing on her mind lately.
Cyrus tilts his gaze down to the object of his affection and smiles to his mom softly. Neither of them had gotten much sleep, what with Cyrus constantly on the move to patrol the packlands. He settles down comfortabley beside her, laying his head gently across her back and licking her cheek lovingly. He falls quiet, smiling tiredly to his mother and Bodhi as he mrrs gently into the hybrids fur, a long sigh coming from him.
Storm watches the two quietly a few moments, its sad an yet at the same time a happy sight. It means everyone is moving on at least.. The alpha lowers her head to the ground and takes in a breath before she soon drifts off into a nap it seems.
Eclipse snuggles back against Cyrus and is soon sleeping once more. Though this time she isn't going to be dreaming of anything bad at least.
Bodhi gazes over at Storm and smiles softly "Rest well Storm".
