Hadir m. Adol. Wolf
Althaea f. Adol. Wolf
-------------------------
Hadir has been resting peacefully for the better part of the day. There didn't seem to be too much going on. Chewy is still in the cave with the pups, and Ikuna is off and about who knows where. Ahiga hasn't been around much. Tala have been around off and on but by and large its been a very boring day. Sure he doesn't have tons of energy but that doesn't mean he wouldn't like things to be a bit more lively. He is sitting by the falls not doing much of anything at the present moment.
Althaea has been wondering about the lands they've temporarily called home, the falls becomeing more and more boring to hang about dispite the number of packmembers lounging about. Coming from the direction of the river, the young shewolf is plugged with questions about how to make herself useful, but currently thats not the main reason she's returned to the area. It wasn't long ago that she had spoken to her father, now it was time to seek out her brother, whom she could probably find rather easy. Infact, her approach allows her to spot him just at the waters and she barks to catch his attention.
Hadir glances over toward the sound of the bark and quick enough spots his sister. He had known that she had gone off to talk to the Cerulean, but that was about it. Beyond that he hasn't really seen much of her since they came here, "Hi Alth." he says in response to the bark. Its a good thing to have someone around to talk too. It was way too quiet this evening.
Althaea was always up for conversation but with her brother she wasn't to sure what to say. Since they were little they didn't really share much time together, so it was rather odd that she's even be attempting it now. Meeting up with her sibling, she settles down at his side, her gaze first at the waters then to her brother whom she gives a light smile to. "Hey, Hadir."
Hadir isn't scary to talk too. People talk to him all the time, "How was that whole thing with Cerulean?" he asks. He had kinda wanted to go himself, but no one really ever asks him to go anywhere, for obvious reasons. She might not get as much attention, but at least she gets picked to go places, "Was it pretty cool?" he asks. He had always wanted to go seet he other pack, he hasn't really seen any of them since he arrived here, though he expects it wouldn't be impossible.
Althaea couldn't say it was all what she expected, she just stood there and listened mostly. Boring if you asked her. The Cerulean appeared to be an alright group, least from the two that she saw. "It was ok." she states, looking away from him. "Felt like here.. I just stood there listening to everyone talk." Yup, thats the basis of it. "I could of done that here." Clearly disappointed but what did she expect. She insisted on going, so theres no one to blame but her on that account. "I've done more since I got back.."
Hadir could believe that was probably the case. After all they were both still young and pretty much expected to do as they were told, "Don't worry when you get older it will be better." At least his sister will likely get older, he will probably kick the bucket before he gets to be too much older. At least thats what he thinks will happen, "So what have you been doing then?" he asks. There really hasn't been much going on here so he is sorta curious to see what she has been up to.
Althaea just huffs. How did he know things would get better.. he barely even knew what life was; dangling at the end of it's strings just trying to survive. Guess he could be right though. It was just so sad here she had her doubts anything good would become of things. It was why she was always away.. Out there things were bright, new. Out there, there were no restraints or someone telling her she couldn't do this or that. Looking to her brother she sighs. "Probably something I shouldn't." She tells him. "Hanging out with a wolf everyone despises." Her last words are murmured. She knew the complications her hanging out with any of the brothers would bring but she felt more comfortable around them right now than her own pack.
Hadir has to believe that there is something good out there for someone, and if it couldn't be him then why couldn't it be his sister, "Are you in love?" he asks with a smile. Of course if he knew that she meant Brutal his opinion of the situation would change, but for all he knows she could be talking about one of the Cerulean wolves, or even a packless wolf who has been wandering about, "I bet you probably are." he says with chuckle.
Althaea smirks shaking her head. "If that were only the case. But no." A subtle frown crosses her lips. Truthfully she didn't know what she was to the wolf.. friends perhaps? Brutal was never to explicit about that sort of thing, more worried about the repercussions of what would happen if anyone knew.
Hadir doesn't really know what to say to that, "You want this wolf to like you?" he asks. He can be a bit curious after all. He has noticed that Tala and Ahiga are crazy for each other, his sister probably could be crazy for someone too. It wouldn't be unheard of anyway.
Its not that, but her brother is in the right mind set. "Its not about him liking me." Althaea wasn't blind to the happenings of whats been going on and in truth she wasn't to sure why it was happening. To her the brother was nice and just wanted us to understand, but to everyone else he was a menace they wanted nothing to do with. "Its more about the pack liking him." By now her brother probably knew who she was refering to.
Hadir doesn't really have much of an idea who she is talking about. She'd probably have to just come out and say it, "Well if he is nice bring him around and then you might be able to convince everyone else." He figures that Alth could do it if anyone could. It probably couldn't hurt for her to try.
Althaea head shakes. "No... I cant." It was possible but she wasn't ready to be glared at and lectured about being around someone they specifically said to avoid or not be around alone. With this she's disobeyed several rules. Back toward the water she says, "I'll think of something. Till then, I'd like you to give him a second chance." Her ears drop.
Hadir doesn't see why she couldn't really just bring whoever it is by. The rest of the pack would probably accept him if he was as nice as she said that he was, "Why would I have to give him a second chance?" he asks. Hopefully this doesn't mean that it is who he thinks it could be. He will let her tell him though.
"You've met him before." Saying his name was well within her, but Althaea feared what he might say. He could be been killed that time and well, what wolf would want to repeat of that. "It didn't quiet go so well from what I've heard and you probably wish him to rot somewhere but.." she stops, standing. "If you never want to see him again.."
Hadir strongly suspects that she means Brutal but he would rather not hear it from her. He hasn't really gotten over that whole incident yet with Brutal, but at the same time he does want his sister be happy, "Don't say any more..." he says. Thats something that they will have to figure out another day, "You just have alot to figure out is all. I'm sure you will figure it out." At least he hopes she will. What she sees in Brutal he has no idea, but obviously she likes him.
