A kestrel swoops into your line of vision, landing gracefully on a low branch in a nearby tree. Peering at you with the piercing eyes of a bird of prey, his beak opens to address you: "Hark! The Merrymakers are coming to visit these lands. We bring fortune-telling, song, dance, far-away goods, and heralds of the coming moon. Join us and be merry as we celebrate Luna's Song -- we shall be waiting for you in the woods." With that, the small falcon lifts his wings and takes flight once again, moving to spread his announcement on to the next creature he finds. ----- For something a little bit different from the usual conflict-based plots, this year Meadows will be celebrating its 3rd Anniversary with a Festival TP that promises to be fun for everyone involved, whether you're part of a group or by yourself, predator or prey, large or small. Starting May 15th, we have a number of different activities planned, and we hope that you'll at least stop by to visit the forest and see what all the talk is about! We are also running a contest with character artwork as the prize -- and all you have to do is win is just request lucky number #1000! See meadowmuck.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=archive&action=display&thread=1174 for more details.
